Description

RAS ASBESTOS breath-controlled valve. Pressurised breathing apparatus for use with a full mask.
The product has been designed for asbestos removal and demolition work where dust is present. The positive pressure inside the full mask provides the greatest protection available. A sutibale back-up filter is fitted to the full mask. In case the air flow falls too low the user can breathe through this filter allowing them to evacuate the area to a dust-free environment.
A warning whistle is included in the system and alerts in the event of a pressure loss by means of a shrill whistle. The recommended incoming air pressure must be between 5.5 and 9.5 bar. Single-user flow needs to be 300 l/min. Normally one secondary user needs an additional 150 l/min as the valve is breath-controlled.

The breath-controlled valve is fitted by means of a bayonnette fitting to the full mask Vision 3.

Ras Asbestos kit contains: A harness that is easy to sanitise, full-mask Vision 3 M/L, breath-controlled valve and P3 filter, all packaged in a robust bag.

Complies with EN 14593-1 and EN 136
