Safety station Krusman 3879
Model 3879 wall-mounted with eye wash 3864 without cover. Shower with installed safety mixer 3890 for the eye wash. Combination of galvanized iron pipes. Shower screen made of acid-resistant steel. Ball valve, non-return, operated by pull rod, with pull handle for crawling person. Eye wash with automatic pressure and flow regulation, and filter in each nozzle.
The supply line is dimensioned for a minimum flow of 76 l/min at 2.4 bar pressure.
According to AFS 2020:1
The path to the emergency shower must not be blocked. The emergency shower must be easy to activate both by standing and crawling persons, and it must provide enough water to prevent injury or further damage. The water should normally be tempered.
Definitions:
The term "normally" in the regulations means that the requirements in the paragraph text should be fulfilled except in individual cases where special circumstances require exceptions. Such a case could be when the workplace is only used temporarily and safety can be ensured through other measures.
